We are well versed in the Stafford Act provisions, related laws and its implementation of regulations (44 CFR and 2 CFR 200), related to Public Assistance, Hazard Mitigation Grant Programs, Special Considerations and Alternative Procedures.

Since 2011 our team has overseen the development, management and closure of over 5,000 FEMA disaster recovery projects with a value of nearly $2 Billion. As FEMA policy changes (which it does constantly) we quickly adapt to achieve.

We offer a unique “just in time” delivery plan. We provide you the correct expertise only when you need it and only for the time needed! In the complex recovery process, when you need, we provide Recovery Experts, Grant Managers, Special Considerations Pros (mitigation, environmental, insurance, historical, beach), CPAs, Engineers, Information Techs and Financial Auditors/Analysts.

One of the most important services we offer happens under “Blue Sky.” That is an assessment & corrective action to make our clients truly “Recovery Ready.” To overcome potential pitfalls, we thoroughly examine procedures; review procurements; and study documentation. We carefully align our clients with FEMA rules, so they are ready to navigate the recovery process and come out of the “gray sky” a winner.

RECOVERY READY

We fully understand Direct Administrative Costs (DAC) that are reimbursable by FEMA. We have written administrative claims approaching $30 million. These claims usually cover not only the often overlooked costs incurred by our clients—but also a huge percentage (virtually all) of Blue Sky’s services costs.
